Each band student and colorguard member has at least five tickets ($15 per ticket) to sell for the upcoming Steak Dinner.   If you haven’t seen these tickets, please ask your child for them.  All students and parents, even those who work that evening, will need to purchase a ticket if they wish to have dinner.

A student raffle is being held (1 raffle ticket entry for every 3 tickets sold).  To be eligible for the student raffle, ticket money and stubs must be turned in by Tuesday, November 18th.

All band and colorguard members are asked to provide two auction items for the Steak Dinner Auction on November 22nd.  Items must be new and in original packaging.  Label with the name of the donor and the band or colorguard member.  Bring items to the band room starting Monday, November 10th.

Suggestions:  Thanksgiving, Christmas gift items, theme baskets, certificates for services, handmade items, gift certificates…  Ask for donations from local businesses. (Tax forms are available in the band room.)

Tickets will be going on sale for our next Fundraiser by Sept. 5, Friday.  Watch for those tickets to come home.  Cost is $6.00, and it includes 3 strips of bacon, beverage, and All-You-Can-Eat Pancakes!  This is a fun activity, and a good fundraiser for the band.  If you have any questions or you need tickets, please call Tony Moles at 369-8182.

Students will begin their Monday evening marching practice on Monday, August 25th.  Mr. Talbert sent a note home with students with the following times:  Color guard begins at 2:30 PM.  Band begins at 5:00 PM.  Both practices end at 7:00 PM.  Attendance is required. Parents, please be prompt when picking up your child after practice.

Support the band and colorguard, and enjoy pizza night at Rick’s Pizza, 1320 Lakewood Mall.  With the Pizza Night flyer, the kids get 1/3 of your purchase, whether you eat in or order to go.   Come anytime from 11:30 AM – 10:00 PM, and bring the flyer (available in the band classroom). Need extra flyers?  Feel free to print as many as you like!

Please consider using Scrip to help support the band and colorguard.  100% of Scrip profits goes to support our students and their activities, and it costs you nothing!
